Go For the Bengal to Be Unique

If you have a Bengal as a pet, that is not a bad choice.  However, you still need to learn more about it so that you can understand your feline friend completely.  First thing you want to know is that the Bengal is a new hybrid breed of cat.  Despite the sort of wild markings, has a friendly as well as gentle personality.  The name Bengal came from the Asian Leopard Cat.

The Bengal is further divided into three more varieties with each being different from the other.  The Serengeti cat was developed from the Oriental/Siamese cat.  People had the objective of having a cat that mimicked the appearance of the African Serval.  The Toyger, on the other hand, came about in crossing the domestic cats.  Individuals wanted to produce a small-scale striped toy Tiger.  Lastly, the birth of the Cheetoh resulted from combining two present domestic spotted cats with defined features to produce this.

These cats can have marbled or spotted coat patterns.  For the spots, they usually have at least two colors present.  Some of the colors are seal sepia tabby, silver, seal marbled lynx point, brown spotted tabby, and seal mink spotted tabby and the likes.  However, there are also the melanistic and blue colors but are not yet recognized by most of the associations that accept the aforementioned breed.

When it comes to their temperament, they are not too hard to live with.  They are very energetic, curious and intelligent.  You can even play fetch or hide-and-seek with your feline since they just love to play games with their owners.  The Bengal has great interest for water and does not mind if he gets wet.  They too can communicate with humans.  They use vocalization as a means to tell their owners what they want.  You too can see if they are jealous or affectionate.

For a change, a Bengal is something you might want to have.  Having that wilder appearance yet subtle personality is something people look for.  They know that looks are deceiving and the Bengal is a perfect example of it.   You can pretend the cat is your baby that needs to be cared for and loved.  As long as you have that urge of wanting to have a pet, try to buy a cat.  They too are loyal like the dogs, playful like the hamsters and affectionate like the humans are.  You can never go wrong with the Bengal.
